You can make an appointment via the following ways:
Ring our main switchboard on 01757 702561 to book an appointment.
Urgent problems will be dealt with the same day by a clinician.
Some appointments are available up to 10 working days in advance. These are limited in number. If your condition is non-urgent, you can expect to speak to a clinician within two working days. However, you may have to wait longer if you want to speak to a particular clinician.
Nurses based in our practice treat patients for a wide range of common conditions. To arrange an appointment with a nurse, please complete the Request an appointment with a Nurse or Health Care Assistant form.
We offer telephone or video appointments with all the clinical staff, including GPs. If you feel your problem can be dealt with over the telephone or by video, please ask our reception team who will be pleased to help you.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the time at which you may be called back if the member of staff is not available immediately. Please note that the surgery telephone number will appear as ‘private’ or ‘unknown’ on caller display phones.
If you arrive late for your appointment or contact us to say you will be late for an appointment, the receptionist will ask the reason and let your doctor/nurse know. The doctor/nurse will then advise whether they are able to see you but you may have to wait to be seen. We do try to accommodate patients who arrive late, but on some occasions you may be advised to re-book your appointment for another.
For more information on who you should see to get help for your health problem, please view the “Who should I see” page.

26% of patients seen by a GP present with problems that can be managed by an alternative health care professional.
Our reception services team have successfully completed Active Signposting (non-medical telephone triage) training, one of the outcomes highlighted by the government’s vision for General Practice via NHS England’s General Practice Forward View. A strategy which outlines practical and funded steps targeted to improve the infrastructure and the quality of care offered to patients in general practice.
The Active Signposting training has upskilled our receptionists this enables them to signpost patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional for their needs, making it easier and faster to get the help you require.
When you ring to make an appointment, a receptionist will ask you for a little more information. Please share this with them, it’s entirely confidential. This will help us ensure that you see the most appropriate member of the practice team as quickly as possible.
